HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle Arrives on Crunchyroll Tomorrow

By Josh PiedraOctober 30, 2024
Crunchyroll announced today the streaming availability for HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle. The highly acclaimed volleyball anime is set to arrive on the Crunchyroll streaming platform on October 31 at 5:00 PM PT.
Released in theaters earlier this year, HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle has earned over $100 million globally. The anime series also celebrated its 10-year anniversary this past April. The film, distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, will be available to stream worldwide, excluding Asia, France, and Southern Africa, in Japanese with subtitles and dubbed in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, and Catalan.
HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle follows Shoyo Hinata as he joins Karasuno High’s volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the “Little Giant.” But, Hinata soon finds that he must team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama. Their clashing styles turn into a surprising weapon, but can they beat their rival Nekoma High in the highly anticipated “Dumpster Battle,” the long-awaited ultimate showdown between two opposing underdog teams?
Produced by Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), the film’s screenplay and direction are by Susumu Mitsunaka, with the original story by Haruichi Furudate.
