Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 And Several Other Call of Duty Titles Headed To Gamepass

By Jordan AndowOctober 14, 2024
Call of Duty 6 coming to gamepass

We are less than two weeks away from the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 25th, 2024. Which as previously announced is launching day one on Xbox Gamepass. Until now there had been no confirmation of whether the game would be playable through the cloud. That is until today, as Xbox announced some good news, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be playable with Xbox Cloud Gaming for Game Pass Ultimate members at launch and will begin rolling out to players on October 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. PT.

This means that regardless of whether you’re playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on the Xbox Series X|S, a gaming or non-gaming laptop, the Amazon Fire TV Stick, or even the Asus ROG Ally, you’ll be good to go. In addition, Xbox is also bringing Xbox Cloud Gaming support to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone for Game Pass Ultimate members on the same day.

If you’re like me and you like to play on a variety of devices Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available wherever you want to play it—Which is fantastic. This news comes after the recent confirmation that as of November 2024, players will finally be able to cloud stream games they own and eventually purchase games directly on the Xbox Mobile App. This is possible thanks to the recent court ruling against Google, that forced it to stop requiring apps to be billed in the Google Play Store on November 1st. You can read more about here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is currently available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store and will launch October 25, 2024, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC, and will be available on day one with Game Pass.

Jordan has been playing games since the age of six. This ignited a passion which initially led him towards game development before trying his hand in the realm of games media, starting in 2022. It turns out he's quite good at it, even if he doesn't always believe in himself. Now, just a few short years later, not only is Jordan a valued member of our staff here at The Outerhaven, but he also co-owns and helps to run Analog Stick Gaming.
