Special Nintendo Museum Video Released

Over 100 years of history on display.
By Todd BlackAugust 19, 2024
Nintendo Museum

Nintendo dropped a special “Direct” today focusing on the Nintendo Museum. It’s built on the site of their oldest building in Kyoto, where the company first started. In the video below, the one and only Shigeru Miyamoto walked fans through the building to highlight many of the attractions you can see, including many that are interactive. For example, on the second floor, there is an area dedicated to the history of The Big N, from when they started making cards back in the late 1800s through all the consoles they’ve made.

You’ll not only see displays dedicated to their works but also see the evolution of certain franchises, characters, and even the way that Nintendo used to make things. Naturally, there are all gaming areas, including one where you need to work with someone else to handle the big controllers they’ve made to play the titles! There’s also a cafe, some singing toads, and more!

Check out the Nintendo Museum video below, and then visit the official website to plan your trip once it opens on October 2nd!
