Over the PAX West 2024 weekend, Arc Sys revealed that Guilty Gear Strive will be making its way to Nintendo Switch. While a banner for the game was spotted at PAX West, the developer also released a trailer for the game. With Dragonball FighterZ already on the Switch, the small but mighty console has the wherewithal to handle another cel-shaded fighting game masterpiece.
With the new season of Guilty Gear Strive DLC characters announced last month, the timing feels pretty spot on. Other Guilty Gear titles have been released onto the Switch such as the Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition and the one that started it all – 1998’s Guilty Gear. Arc System Works released a trailer for the announcement this week, confirming that all 28 characters will be available with the release on January 23, 2025.
