One Piece Remake Anime Receives First Details

During the One Piece Day ’24 event, the first details for Netflix’s One Piece anime remake have been revealed.

The first piece of information was the revealing of the staff for the show which are as follows:

  • Director – Masashi Koizuka (Attack on Titan)
  • Assistant Director – Hideaki Abe (JUJUTSU KAISEN episode 15 director)
  • Series Composition – Taku Kishimoto (Ranking of Kings)
  • Character Designer / Chief Animation Director – Kyoji Asano, Takatoshi Honda
  • Creature Design / Concept Art – Yasuhiro Kajino
  • Prop Designer – Eri Taguchi
  • Action Animator – Ken Imaizumi, Shuhei Fukuda
  • Art Director – Tomonori Kuroda
  • Animation Production – WIT Studio

Following the production video was a reveal of a 3D render of Foosha Village as well as production art of famous scenes from East Blue, and a full 3D anime render of Shells Town.
