Nintendo Switch Has Crossed 143 Million Sold

Slower quarter, but it's understandable.

Nintendo Plans to Prevent Scalping for the Switch 2 by Ensuring Sufficient Supply, Nintendo Switch 2

Are you ready for some updated Nintendo Switch sales data? Too bad if not, I’m doing it anyway! The latest sales figures for the Switch, and Nintendo in general, have come out, and it’s unsurprising that the console continues to sell even in one of its “lighter periods” gaming-wise. The latest financial data from The Big N notes that the console has sold over 143 million units combined. That’s not too much more than the last fiscal quarter, but there are always catches to things like this. First off, the Switch is in its final year officially, and just as important, the gaming lineup the last few months has been slim.

Don’t get me wrong, Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD sold well, but those games were never console movers. Still, the Nintendo Switch is chugging along, and we can be grateful that the console still has some things to offer before its successor comes around.
