Today on their blog, Amazon Games has announced an open beta for those still on the fence about getting New World: Aeternum for console. Alongside that post, they also uploaded a trailer about the open beta as well.
The open beta for New World: Aeternum will be between September 13 to September 16th 2024. You can play it on PS5, Xbox Series S|X and even on PC. You will be able to cross play on different platforms with friends. You will also be able to preload the game on the three platforms on September 11th, 2024. There are no pre requisites in needing to play the game. Download the game and play it as soon as the open beta starts. Progress in the game won’t carry over when it gets released but all rewards earned through the beta will be given to players once it releases.
