New Alien VR Game Alien: Rogue Incursion Announced

Hopefully this is more like Aliens: Isolation

Alien Rogue Incursion announcement

If you’re like me and have always wanted a VR Alien/Aliens game in the vein of Aliens: Isolation, your wish has come true. VR gaming development studio Survios (Creed: Rise to Glory) has announced it is working on a VR Alien game called Alien: Rogue Incursion. This title is being developed for the PSVR 2, PC VR (Steam), and Meta Quest 3. The game will be released on December 19, 2024.

What’s interesting about this game is that it also features a character from the Aliens: Defiance comic from Dark Horse Comics, Zula Hendricks. This is significant as the comic takes place 17 years after the original Alien and before the Aliens movies, and it does fit into the canon. It’s going to be interesting to see just how Survios handles the storytelling in this timeline.

The single-player, action-horror VR game developed in collaboration with 20th Century Games features a terrifying original Alien storyline starring fan-favorite character and rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, voiced by Emmy Award winner Andia Winslow.

In a chilling new trailer, fans will see first-hand the terror they must fight as they suit up in VR as Zula. In addition, fans will get a first look at the weaponry and gear that they can equip in order to battle the iconic Xenomorphs.

Check out the announcement trailer, introduction trailer for Zula Hendricks, and weapons trailers below.

Alien: Rogue Incursion releases on December 19, 2024, for PSVR 2, PCVR, and Meta Quest 3.
