It appears that Middle-Earth is as popular as ever. Amazon is about to drop the second season of The Rings of Power. Multiple video games set in Middle-Earth have been released in the last year or so, and now, we have an animated movie coming to theaters! The Lord of the Rings The War of the Rohirrim tells the tale of Rohan two centuries before the War of the Ring. Specifically, it features two factions within the land who battle one another after Rohan’s king refuses a bargain, killing the rival leader in the process.

However, the main character is his daughter, who must prove why she’s the best rider in all the realm, and fight off against a former friend. As you’ll see below, the movie features two all-star creators making it happen, and the animation does look crisp.

If The Lord of the Rings The War of the Rohirrim is successful, it could lead to more projects like this down the line.
