Legend Of Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom Introduces New World And Abilities.

The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

The Legend Of Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom is less than a month away from release on the Nintendo Switch, and The Big N has been slowly peeling back the layers on what the game has to offer. Previously, they focused on a key gameplay mechanic mixed with the various races you’ll meet in Hyrule. Today, they dropped a trailer showing off the newly arrived “Still World,” while showing off even more of Princess Zelda’s new abilities! As part of the quest she goes on, Zelda and her new partner Tri will go into the rifts that consume Hyrule and attempt to find those who have been lost within it.

The Still World, unlike Hyrule, is made of various floating items and chunks of land. Zelda’s “Echoes” will be vital when traversing the space. Plus, there are also dungeons here that Zelda will have to work her way through! Another key element to the trailer is the reveal of the “Swordfighter Form.” Zelda can use this to wield a sword and shield (not unlike Link) and be more active in combat instead of just using her Echoes to fight for her. The catch is that the form is tied to an energy gauge, so you have to use the form wisely and recharge it via items you find in the Still World.
