While Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to release on November 15th, 2024, you can get an early hands-on with the game, provided that you are in the UK. ReedPop has announced that Ubisoft will showcase Assassin’s Creed Shadows at EGX x MCM this October. This will be the first opportunity for UK gamers to play the much-anticipated next entry in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series and it’s included in your ticket.

Taking place in feudal Japan, players will take control of protagonists Naoe and Yasuke, as their journeys collide throughout the story. Players will also get to experience both characters’ playstyles, with Naoe’s agile and stealth approach and Yasuke’s direct and brutal combat skills.

Ubisoft are delighted to be partnering with ReedPop to bring Assassin’s Creed Shadows to EGX this year. We can’t wait to see how players will react to the latest iteration of the series — Neale Maker, Events & Esports Marketing Manager at Ubisoft

We’re excited to welcome Ubisoft to EGX this year, enabling our guests to be the first in the UK to get their hands on another fantastic title. Our top priority is providing unique experiences for fans and bringing players together, and by partnering with Ubisoft we’ve continued to make great strides on this mission. — Daniel Jones, Marketing Manager at EGX

Ubisoft fans are encouraged to look out for additional announcements, as ReedPop will be revealing opportunities to take part in even more Assassin’s Creed activities at the show in the coming months. Attendees will also be able to play Just Dance 2025 on MCM Comic Con x EGX’s Fringe Stage.

EGX will take place alongside MCM Comic Con at ExCeL London from the 25th to the 27th of October and will be the first time both events come together under one roof. The show will offer guests the chance to play the latest games, attend fascinating panels from top developers, and get their foot in the door of the gaming industry at the EGX Career Fair.

Keep an eye on the official EGX & MCM Comic Con pages for the latest announcements and purchase tickets here.

Jordan has been playing games since the age of six. This ignited a passion which initially led him towards game development before trying his hand in the realm of games media, starting in 2022. It turns out he's quite good at it, even if he doesn't always believe in himself. Now, just a few short years later, not only is Jordan a valued member of our staff here at The Outerhaven, but he also co-owns and helps to run Analog Stick Gaming.
