Kadokawa Has Acquired Doga Koba

It was announced that KADOKAWA CORPORATION has acquired Studio Doga Koba, adding it to its extensive list of businesses which includes the likes of Yen Press, J-Novel Club, Book Walker, From Software, Anime News Network, and many others.

Recent works that Studio Doga Koba produced are last season’s Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night (Yoru no Kuraga no Oyogenai) and the currently-airing second season of [Oshi no Ko]. Other notable series from the studio include New Game!, Plastic Memories, How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, and more.

Other anime studios under KADOKAWA include ENGI, Studio KADAN, Raging Bull, Bellnox Films, and Kinema Citrus.
