Rebel Moon Director Cuts Receive New Names and Release Date!

An Even Bigger Story To Tell?
By Todd BlackJune 11, 2024
Rebel Moon Part One Review, Zack Snyder

It’s interesting to see the discourse about the Rebel Moon films. There are those who love the films and those who hate them. So, you know, your standard affair when it comes to people watching Zack Snyder films. However, one thing that was promised from the outset was that the two movies would get director’s cuts. They promised more insights into the characters, more action, violence, and other things. However, no date had been given for the special cuts…until today, that is.

Zack Snyder himself not only revealed the August 2nd release date for the extended films, but revealed the two new names for the Rebel Moon films:

Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness

The real question (that is actually fair to ask) is how much these extensions will add to the films. Some will likely say it won’t add anything at all, but there were moments in both films that clearly had edited scenes, and thus could be expanded upon further. We’ll have to wait for August to find out!
