Red Dead Redemption's PC Release Not Happening Soon

Fans eagerly awaiting the PC port of Red Dead Redemption may need to exercise more patience. Recent information hinted at a possible remastered version for PC. However, insiders now suggest that this was an early leak, and the game won’t be arriving on PC soon.

The PC gaming community has been eagerly waiting for the chance to experience John Marston’s story. The excitement grew when rumors of a PC version of Red Dead Redemption Remastered surfaced. Yet, no official announcement followed, leaving fans confused. An insider, Tez2, explained that the strings for a PC version were added to the Rockstar Launcher too early, likely due to internal changes.

Red Dead Redemption's PC Release Not Happening Soon

Despite the delay, it’s not all bad news. The insider mentioned that a PC version will come eventually, just not as soon as some had hoped. With GTA 6 slated for a Fall 2025 release, Rockstar might use the Red Dead Redemption PC port to fill the gap and keep fans engaged.

The Red Dead franchise has a strong following, and bringing Red Dead Redemption to PC would only enhance its legacy. Fans will have to stay tuned for more updates and hope for an official announcement from Rockstar Games in the near future.
