HBO’s House of the Dragon Season 2 is coming next month, and it’ll be part of a big lineup of titles across both TV and streaming services in June. At the end of Season 1, a coup caused Rhaenerya to lose the Iron Throne to the Hightowers and her nephew Aegon. Then, during what was supposed to be a peaceful conversation, her son was killed, kickstarting what many will call the “Dance of the Dragons.” HBO dropped the official trailer for Season 2, and that “dance” will cost many their lives.
A key takeaway from the trailer is that both sides aren’t just dealing with physical battles but inner turmoil. Things aren’t going to be easy going forward, and that makes the upcoming season even more enticing.
