Hallmark has been producing a number of video game-related ornaments for a number of years, and it doesn’t seem like it is stopping. Recently, the company announced its latest video game-related ornament, the Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament 2023 SEGA Dreamcast. Yes, the SEGA Dreamcast, which is one of my favorite video game consoles of all time, will now be hanging from my Christmas tree and maybe yours as well. The Hallmark Keepsake Christmas Ornament 2023 SEGA Dreamcast isn’t just for show and features a power-on button that, when pressed, will illuminate the VMU screen and play music from Sonic Adventure. I can already see myself pressing that button repeatedly and driving my wife crazy.
The Hallmark Keepsake Christmas ornament 2023 SEGA Dreamcast joins several other gaming consoles that have been turned into festive ornaments, including the SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo Entertainment System. In addition to those, Hallmark has also created ornaments for Mortal Kombat, Sonic the Hedgehog, Metroid, and Mario Kart
This ornament is currently available to pre-order on Amazon and the Hallmark website for $22.99 and will be available on October 14, 2023. If you’re a fan of video games, which I’m assuming you are because you’re here and reading this, I’d order this before they’re all gone.
