If you were one of the thousands, if not millions, who preordered Mortal Kombat 1 for either the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, then you’ll be happy to know that Mortal Kombat 1 beta codes are now being sent out. Sadly, the PC or Nintendo Switch will be able to participate in the Mortal Kombat 1 beta.

I recently received an email from Best Buy that included my beta code. If you ordered the game, you may want to check your email because there might be a beta code waiting for you.

If you did receive one of these emails, you won’t be able to redeem your Mortal Kombat 1 beta code starting on August 15 @ 8 AM PDT / 10 AM CDT / 11 AM EDT.  The Mortal Kombat 1 beta will take place from August 18 – August 21, 2023, for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

How to Redeem your Mortal Kombat 1 Beta Code

  1. Head over to Account.WBGames.com/Betas and create a new account, or log in if you already have one.

2. Once logged in, enter the code under the “Redeem a Pre-Order Beta Code” section.

3. Follow the prompts to receive a code based on the console preference that you preordered the game for. You won’t be able to change this.

4. You’ll receive a code that you’ll need to enter in either the PlayStation or Xbox Online Store, but keep in mind that you can only redeemable starting on August 15 at 11 a.m. EDT / 10 a.m. CDT / 8 a.m. PDT. Attempting to enter the code now will only result in an error.

5. You have to worry about losing the code, as it will be visible in your account. Just the sure to come back on August 15, so you can enter it and start playing when the Mortal Kombat 1 beta starts.

For more information on the Mortal Kombat 1 beta, head to Mortalkombat.com. Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on September 19, 2023, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
