Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Gets Massive Gameplay Trailer!

While the PlayStation Showcase may not have been everything that fans wanted (sorry Bloodborne fans!), it’s hard to deny that they ended with a bang by showing off a massive 10+minute trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2! The game hasn’t had a trailer since the September 2021 trailer that teased its arrival, so fans were antsy for something new. But it wouldn’t have meant anything if the trailer wasn’t meaningful, right? We needed to see Spider-Man, both Peter and Miles, in action and get more of the story. Thankfully, we got that.

First and foremost, WE’RE GETTING KRAVEN THE HUNTER!!!! Yep, he’s here, and the story, at least in part, will be him going “on the hunt” for some of the heroes and villains of New York City. That includes…The Lizard, of which we got a massive gameplay sequence of both Peter and Miles trying to stop Kraven’s soldiers and get to The Lizard in time before he is captured. There are plenty of new moves, powers, and team-ups shown in the game, including being able to swap between Peter and Miles in the story based on where they are!

Sadly, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 didn’t get a release date, but after watching this trailer, you likely won’t mind that for now:

Oh yeah, Peter’s scary now, surely that won’t be a problem…
