Deck 13’s action rpg Atlas Fallen delayed to August

Sadly, if you were looking to play Deck 13’s upcoming action RPG, Atlas Fallen, you’ll have to wait a few extra months as the game has now been delayed. Initially scheduled for a May 16, 2023, release, the release date has been pulled to August 10, 2023. This puts the Atlas Fallen delay around three months, in the middle of Summer 2023.

After the stellar showcasing from PAX East 2023, Deck 13 considered the feedback and suggestions from the event and decided that the game could use some extra development time.

Dear players,

Thank you for the tremendous support we received so far on Atlas Fallen! From your enthusiastic comments on our video teasers online and in person at P/X EAST to the positive previews from critics, we’re grateful and honored to have you excited to play our game.

Our goal has always been to create a memorable -RPG experience in a unique setting, with exciting gameplay and the option for fully playable seamless co-op with a friend. We’d love to give the game some extra time which will allow us to deliver the best possible version of Atlas Fallen.

To achieve this, we have made the difficult decision to delay the worldwide launch of Atlas Fallen to AUGUST 10, 2023. We apologize for this disappointing news. We’ll come back in early summer to share updates on the game, including new gameplay footage and your first look at drop-in co-op gameplay. We can’t wait to bring you a fantastic experience in the deserted lands of Atlas this summer!

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we head to the finish line,

Atlas Fallen delayed 3-29-2023

Now, you won’t get any complaints out of me for the delay, especially when it gives the developers more time to realize the entirety of their realization. I applaud Focus Entertainment for understanding that Deck 13 wants more time and has agreed.

As for what I played during PAX East 2023, I thought the game was plenty polished, but it did have a few minor issues. I did also notice a bit of a performance dip here and there, so hopefully, the game will receive some optimization on the PC and consoles.

Look forward to playing the action RPG, Atlas Fallen on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 10, 2023.
