We have gotten the official 30th-anniversary stream of NIS from NIS America. Happy 20th Birthday to Prinny the Mascot for most of NIS America releases! As a surprise to nobody, NIS America announced the localization of Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless coming Fall 2023.
We get to see Fuji and Pirilika take center stage in this trailer! We get some staples from the series showcased such as throwing other characters to help add more to their movement. We also get to see a new mechanic in the game called Jumbility that seems to make characters giant on the screen. Fluffcakes are able to heal and deal damage depending on how you use it. At the end we also get a release time frame of Fall 2023.
The next thing to be announced was the real surprise to me at least, but we are getting a localized port of Rhapsody 2 and 3 in a collection called Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles.
For those who do not know (Which is probably a good chunk), Rhapsody is a game series that has been stuck in Japan. We got the first game in the NIS Classics collection 3 last year. We are now getting Rhapsody 2 and 3 will be in a collection on Nintendo Switch, and PS5. Surprised to see it not coming to PS4. We then got a release time frame of Summer 2023.
The rest of the stream was giveaways and gameplay of Rhapsody 2 and Monster Menu. There is a lot to look forward to if it means we are starting to get some of the older games ported to the west for the first time!
