For those of us patiently waiting for an update to Granblue Fantasy: Relink, we finally got some coverage! Cygames has released a trailer in both English and Japanese that shows off some of the gameplay, cinematics, and world design.
We get a timeframe of a worldwide launch that this game will release in 2023. No exact date or season but it looks like Cygames is a lot more confident in this release date than any of the previous ones we have gotten. Looks like it will be an action RPG with massive boss fights and a variety of characters you can play as. I am excited to play this game and the trailer just heightens my excitement even further! I hope to see more information about Granblue Fantasy: Relink as the year progresses.
For those who don’t know the story, Granblue Fantasy: Relink was supposed to be helmed by Platinum Games and Cygames, and eventually Platinum Games left the project leaving Cygames to have the bulk of the game on themselves. Since then, the game has been put on limbo in terms of announcements and information. It is great to be able to see that the game is coming together so we can experience the world of Granblue Fantasy in an RPG format!
