There’s no denying that Vampire Survivors is a fantastic title, and it has been known to grab people’s attention and never let go. Well, it doesn’t look as if that’s going to let up anytime soon, as a new DLC for the game called Legacy of the Moonspell has recently been revealed, as pointed out by Resetera.
This new DLC will be released on December 15th, 2022, and will add eight unique characters, 13th new weapons, one new stage, and six new music tracks. According to the recently revealed Steam page, this DLC will be centered around the Moonspell, once vigilant guardians of a sorcerous valley nestled in the mountains, who have been overrun by hordes of yokai and oni. Though treacherous, this hive of spectral activity may provide some clue as to the location of a vampire. Now, it’s up to you to take up your arms and spells to stop the baddies, or at least have fun trying to do so.
While the DLC mentions 8 new characters, only four have been known. Those characters include Miang, Moonspell, Menya Moonspell, Syuuto Moonspell, and Babi-Onna. As for the other four, you’ll have to play and figure out how to access them. The new weapons include the Silver Wind, Four Seasons, Summon Night, and Mirage Robe. While Mt. Moonspell will be the added stage. A massive sprawling map featuring several different environments, all with their own challenges and resident monsters! This one stage includes an abandoned castle, snow-covered mountain, and an yokai-infested village.
It looks like fans of Vampire Survivors will be eating well in just one more week. Vampire Survivors is currently available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|C, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. The game has recently been is a nominee for “The Best Debut Indie Game” during the upcoming The Game Awards, which will take place on December 8th, 2022.
