Fire Emblem Engage Will Have Unlockable Side Missions

By Todd BlackDecember 28, 2022
Fire Emblem Engage

When it comes to single-player titles, the question is often about how much content there is both within the main campaign and the side content that you can take part in. The Fire Emblem franchise is known for its deep story campaigns, but they’ve also delved deeper into the realm of side quests and missions to help expand the experience. The upcoming Fire Emblem Engage is already looking to be a grand title, but now we know that there will be more content than expected, thanks to an insider’s post.

As you can see below, there will be “Gaiden” style missions that you can partake in as you play the main story. Doing so will help you unlock new allies to join you in battle. That means you’ll have an even bigger roster to have fun with and plan strategies around. Hopefully we’ll get a look into some of these side missions before the game’s release.

The map in Fire Emblem Engage will have unlockable Side or "Gaiden" missions where you might be able to unlock new characters.

Even if Engage doesn't end up having multiple split story paths like Three Houses, hopefully this will provide plenty of unique battles. pic.twitter.com/oqOVrctKrg
