It was teased yesterday that a “can’t miss” Pokemon trailer was coming to further showcase the arrival of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet next week. Well, it’s here, but some might note that there isn’t that much to talk about in terms of new information. Instead, the trailer brings back Ed Sheeran’s song “Celestial” as the backdrop for a Rolodex of footage showing off the Paldea Region and everything you can experience in it. The lack of new content aside, it is a great glimpse at what you can expect from the game.
But, there is some new information you can glean from the music-filled trailer. We mainly glimpse a new set of Pokemon, which might have ties to the game’s theme of “past and future.”
