New Super Mario Bros Movie Trailer Shows Off Peach and Vast World

The Super Mario Bros Movie got praise and criticism when it released its first trailer in early October. Today, after a small Nintendo Direct, it got its second trailer, which showed much more of the world that we’d be visiting in the movie. The good news is that the animation once again looks great, and we see characters like Peach shine in the trailer. The bad news…is it will still get criticism, mainly because of Chris Pratt.

Yep, his voice as Mario hasn’t improved, and some other voices are suspect too. But Jack Black and Anya Taylor-Joy seem to be holding down the fort with this movie and that’s not a bad thing to fall back on. Longtime Nintendo fans will love the various references to Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, and more within the trailer. So check it out below:
