Thor Love and Thunder Gets DESTROYED In New Honest Trailers Video

By Todd BlackSeptember 13, 2022
Thor Love and Thunder, Honest Trailers

Thor Love and Thunder is one of the most divisive films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Why? Because you either really like the film, or you think it’s one of the dumbest things the MCU has ever done, and is just a bad movie overall. There really isn’t a middle ground here. And if you don’t believe that, you can check out the latest Honest Trailers piece that happily destroys it to kingdom come.

Case in point, they note that the film feels “unfocused”, something many critics and fans felt. It also points out that Taika Waititi just went and “kept cranking” on everything that kind of worked in Thor Ragnarok and thus made something that was basically unwatchable at times. Or something that was only funny to him, or works for him. Like the continuous use of screaming goats, or not killing Korg (whom he plays) but “revealing” that they’re only just faces, or making light of Jane Foster’s cancer, having Thor redo ALL of his progression from past films (and still being an idiot) and apparently having a love triangle with weapons. You know, that kind of thing.

The Honest Trailers video also blasts the film for its lack of use of Gorr, how it did nothing with Valkyrie, went back on story elements that it tried to setup, and more. If you’ve read our review of Thor Love and Thunder, you’ll know that we agree with all of these statements. So enjoy the video below, because you’ll likely enjoy it more than the actual film itself.
