HoYoverse Teams Up with ufotable for Long-Term Project Involving Genshin Impact

Earlier today, HoYoverse announced the Patch 3.1 update for Genshin Impact; however, that wasn’t the only thing that was announced.  They also announced that they have entered a long-term project with anime studio ufotable.

While details about this partnership are unknown, we did receive a long, three-minute trailer that tells us that whatever is happening between the two studios, it does involve the Genshin Impact franchise.

Given the nature of the studio that HoYoverse is partnering with, many believe that this is a television anime adaptation of the game but there is no official wording or language that confirms that hypothesis at this time. For now, though, you can check out the gorgeous trailer below:
