Nintendo Switch Now At 111 Million Units Sold

Nintendo has dropped some new financial data for Q1 of 2023 (which started in March if you recall) and the results of it are staggering, but also a bit humbling. Because as noted in their financial briefing, the Nintendo Switch is now at 111 million units sold, continuing the upward trend of it being on the best-selling consoles list of all time. The catch though is that when you counter this with the sales from last year at this time, it’s down in sales about 4.5 million.

To be clear though! That’s not on the side/fault of Nintendo, but rather, the semiconductor shortages that are affecting all of the electronic entertainment industry. Plus, Nintendo accounted for this and their goal for the Nintendo Switch in this fiscal year is 21 million and they still think they’ll get that.

Add that to their great software sales and the Switch is doing fine.
