The official twitter for MultiVersus has announced the day that the game goes live. August 15th 2022 will be the start of season 1. MultiVersus has been in open beta since July 26th. Now it will be live as the free to play game it is supposed to be with a battle pass, and frequent updates to the content throughout the season. We also get word that the next character to be unveiled is Morty from Rick and Morty.
We’re excited to announce Season 1 will begin on August 15 with a brand-new Battle Pass for you to earn in-game rewards! We can also confirm Morty will join the character roster on August 23 as part of Season 1. We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks! #MultiVersus
