Guide: How to Respawn Bosses in Cult of the Lamb

Cult-of-the-Lamb-Key

Those major bosses in Cult of the Lamb are quite the pain in the butt. That is until you learn their patterns. Then they’re a piece of cake. So much cake that you wish that you could fight them all over again with the knowledge you’ve acquired. Well, the good news is that you can fight them again. In fact, you can respawn them as many times as you’d like.

Here’s how you do it!

How to Respawn Bosses in Cult of the Lamb

In order to respawn a boss in Cult of the Lamb, you will have to already beaten one of the four major bosses. Once you’ve done this, you will need to revisit the area that they controlled. There are four areas that you can revisit.

Once you return to the area the first time, you’ll be told that killing off the boss made the area’s enemies stronger.

Keep progressing into the area until you eventually find a devotion statue. Be sure to take all of all the devotion from it.

Next, smash that statue. If you did this before killing off the boss, it would just destroy the statue and eventually reform. With the boss killed, things are a bit different. Instead, now the statue opens up a portal to a new location.

Hop into the portal and you’ll find yourself on a path with the boss that you already vanquished.

Now you’ll get to fight this boss all over again. There’s also no limit to how many times you can respawn the bosses. The boss doesn’t change its pattern either, so beat it to oblivion. This is a great way to farm gold, resources, tarot cards, and animal forms.

Cult of the Lamb has successfully been ported to the Steam Deck. It looks gorgeous and runs very well on the system. It also seems perfect for a portable experience with short roguelite playthroughs of around 5-10 minutes.  Also, keep an eye out for more of our Cult of the Lamb guides.
