Valkyrie Elysium Release Date Revealed

By Scott AdamsJuly 6, 2022
Valkyrie Elysium New Trailer

The odd choice of Square Enix Rebooting the Valkyrie series with Valkyrie Elysium and it changing up the battle system was always a concern for me. However with the new trailer being revealed just yesterday, I have a bit more confidence in the direction they are taking.

I noted in the announcement reveal that the combat appeared janky and very unpolished. The combat in the release date trailer seems a lot more polished and focused. Voice acting seems a lot more directed too. Just like my thoughts on Star Ocean: The Divine Force, these new release date trailers from Square Enix are a lot better than what we saw from the announcement trailers. I will probably still miss the turn based combat from the precious entries of the series but Valkyrie Elysium is now a much more anticipated title for me to look out for.

Valkyrie Elysium will be released on PlayStation Consoles September 29th, 2022, It will be released on PC through Steam November 11th, 2022.

The best news is it looks like Valkyrie Profile Lenneth is going to be also accessible on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles as indicated from the store page. If you buy the digital deluxe edition of Valkyrie Elysium you also get Valkyrie Profile Lenneth.
