By Josh PiedraJuly 29, 2022

Bandai Namco Entertainment today announced JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: ALL-STAR BATTLE R will have an all-new playable demo with new fighters, and a head-to-head fan competition at Evolution Championship Series (EVO) 2022  from August 5-6 in Las Vegas. Fans will have an opportunity to get hands-on time with the game and enter free exhibition tournaments livestreamed on Twitch at EVO booth #P4. JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: ALL-STAR BATTLE R is slated for release on PC via STEAM on September 1, 2022, and on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch™ on September 2, 2022.

JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: ALL-STAR BATTLE R will have thirteen demo stations open to attendees at EVO on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6. The demo features offline Versus and Tournament Modes, the Everglades stage from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6, and all eight JoJo protagonists along with new characters such as Iggy, Shigekiyo Yangu, Diavolo, Gyro Zeppeli, Wamuu, F.F., and Baoh. On Saturday, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. will host two Versus Mode open exhibition tournaments, pitting 64 players in single-elimination competitions vying for exclusive JoJo items and a PlayStation 5 console as the grand prize. Fans can check out the tournament and other action from the EVO 2022 show floor on Twitch at http://www.twitch.tv/BandaiNamcoUS

JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: ALL-STAR BATTLE R immerses players in an authentic video game adaptation of the popular anime that stays true to creator Hirohiko Araki’s captivating art style. The title promises to be the biggest game ever in the JoJo’s franchise, bringing together a massive roster of 50 characters from every story arc in the anime series. Players can experience popular battles from each story and see heroes from different universes interact for the first time, playing as Jonathan Joestar, DIO, Jotaro Kujo, Jolyne Cujoh, daughter of Jotaro and the first-ever female JoJo in the series, and many more.
