Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Getting Special Direct on Wednesday

By Todd BlackJune 20, 2022
Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 to much fanfare when it was revealed earlier this year. It was originally going to be released in September, but then, it was randomly (and graciously) moved up to July 29th instead. Since thing, the Nintendo of America Twitter handle has been dropping all sorts of minor teases of what’s to come. Character bios, song clips, and we even got a look at the world of XC3 once. But we’re still missing a lot of key elements…and that should be fixed soon.

Because on Wednesday, we’re getting a special Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct that’ll detail a LOT about the game, 20 minutes worth of details in fact:

Tune in on 6/22 at 7am PT for a livestreamed #XenobladeChronicles3 Direct presentation featuring roughly 20 minutes of information about the upcoming RPG adventure for #NintendoSwitch. pic.twitter.com/x3pRs0EYRA

Many were expecting a full-on Nintendo Direct, but perhaps this is being done so that when the true Direct comes it won’t have to touch on XC3. Only time will tell.
