Where and When to Watch the A Plague Tale: Requiem Showcase

By Keith MitchellJune 23, 2022
A Plague Tale Requiem announced

Today, Focus Entertainment will host a live stream for its upcoming title, A Plague Tale: Requiem. Everyone will be able to get their fill of rats, along with the release date and an extended high-quality gameplay trailer on June 23rd, 2022, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET, over on the Focus Entertainment YouTube channel.

What is A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the follow-up to A Plague Tale: Innocence, which focused on the sibling pairing of Amicia de Rune and her brother, Hugo, in hopes of curing him of illness. Requiem continues the tale with the siblings being much older as they attempt to escape their homeland and into the vast open world.

We already had a short look at some A Plague Tale: Requiem gameplay, thanks to the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase. Today, the extended A Plague Tale: Requiem showcase will show us even more, and as someone who enjoyed the first title, I’m excepted to see more of a follow-up. Of course, we’re getting a A Plague Tale: Requiem release date announcement as well.

If you haven’t played the first game, now is a good time to do so. If you’re looking to play on the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, a next-gen patch was released in 2021, that fully utilizes the machine’s capabilities.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is scheduled to release in 2022 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|s, and PC. The game will be available through Xbox Game Pass as a day one release.
