Over the last several years we’ve been hearing a lot from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in terms of his live-action superhero debut via Black Adam. He’s said that this is his “dream project” that he’s going to be bringing a lot to the role, and so on and so forth. But the real question was about how he was going to make it all work in the end. The answer has partially come, as the first trailer for the movie has finally arrived.
As you can see below, the movie will show Black Adam being ruthless toward his enemies, but also doing his best to stop those who oppress his homeland. The Justice Society of America also gets some great spotlights in the trailer, and they don’t exactly mesh personality-wise with the champion of the wizard…so we’ll have to see how that plays out. The movie releases on October 21st!
