Insomniac Games Spider-Man Remastered Heads To PC In August

By Keith MitchellJune 2, 2022
Spider-Man Heads to PC

PlayStation has just dropped another major PC bomb, with the official reveal of Insomniac Games Spider-Man Remastered is heading to PC on August 12, 2022. Yes, I’m not making this up.

According to Insomniac Games, the PC port will include Ray-Traced reflections, adjustable render settings, and more, which will be revealed at a later day. It looks like Nvidia RTX 3000 card owners are going to be for a treat.

Included with the Spider-Man Remastered PC release is Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC, three-story chapters with additional missions and challenges. Developed by Insomniac Games and fully optimized for PC in collaboration with Nixxes Software, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be released on Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 12, 2022.

What we didn’t see during the State of Play, is that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is also headed to the PC. As mentioned on the PlayStation Blog,  both titles are heading to the PC. We already know about when Spider-Man Remaster heads to the PC, while Spider-Man: Miles Morales will make a PC appearance during Fall 2022.

We will have more details to share about both Marvel’s Spider-Man PC games as we approach their respective launches. For now, we can reveal that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will launch on PC on August 12, 2022 while Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch on PC in Fall 2022.

If you haven’t been keeping count, many PlayStation games have made their way to the PC over the past year. Those games include Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and God of War. Since those games were released, PlayStation also announced that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, is headed to the PC.

With the acquisition of Nixxes, who is handling the Spider-Man Remastered PC port, the future looks to be bright for PlayStation and PC.
