Persona 3, 4 , and 5 Are Finally Confirmed for Nintendo Switch

By William "Shadowz" KokJune 28, 2022

After years of begging and the jokes made about it, ATLUS finally gave Nintendo fans what they want. Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal are finally coming to Nintendo Switch. This means you are able to play these three Persona games on all modern consoles. This comes at the end of the Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase.

While it was quite sly and somewhat infuriating of ATLUS to hold off the Nintendo Switch in prior announcements for the other systems, it is now a big relief for Switch fans to finally be able to play these three mainline Persona games. No longer you are stuck with spinoffs like Persona 5 Strikers.  So you have no excuses now. If you haven’t played these games, no matter what system you own, you can finally play these revered entries of  Persona. Now if only we can get the first two games to come back somehow and get all the entries…

Persona 5 Royal will be released first on October 21. One day after Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. With Nier Automata also being released on October 6th. October is shaping up to be a big month for  Switch owners given you haven’t played the games on prior systems.
