Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary livestream taking place next week

Square Enix Final Fantasy VII 25th Celebration livestream

Square Enix has revealed via a Twitter post that it will be hosting a short live stream on June 16th, 2022, to celebrate 25 years of Final Fantasy VII. We’ll be able to watch this live stream over on Square Enix’s Twitch and YouTube channels.

This event will be short, clocking in at 10-minutes. However, Tetsuya Nomura has stated that despite the short run time, the event will be “packed in lots of information.”

Of course, we’re all hoping the Japanese RPG juggernaut will release either more information on Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2. Perhaps Square Enix will finally provide a release date on when the next chapter will appear on the PlayStation and PC.

Either way, it’s another event that Final Fantasy VII fans likely won’t want to miss.
