Steam Next Fest Souldiers Demo Impressions

By Keith MitchellMarch 7, 2022
Souldiers-Game-1000x565

Our very own Matthew Paul and Scott Adams seemed to have enjoyed the Steam Next Fest demo for the upcoming title, Souldiers. So much, that they’ve released a video regarding their impression of the game.

Souldiers is a Metroidvania game that rewards exploration. The art is phenomenal and is one of the best parts of the game. The controls are tight and the maps make sense. A very solid choice for trying out Metroidvania as a genre and has a challenge for those already fans of the genre.

Why not give it a watch if you’re curious and that they thought about the Souldiers demo. Sadly, you can’t download the demo anymore. In case you were wondering.

Souldiers is currently in development by Retro Forge Games and will be published by Dear Villagers. The full game is slated for a Spring 2022 release date on PC, so don’t forget to wishlist it.
