Infernax: How to Complete the Possessed Man In Darsov Quest

By Keith MitchellFebruary 14, 2022

One of the main quests in Infernax has you trying to free a cursed person and to be honest, the game doesn’t do a good job of explaining where to look. It took me a while to figure this out, so I’m passing my knowledge off to you.

So, how do you free this cursed person?

To start the questline, find the hut that’s just over the green dropdown in Darsov.

Infernax - Possessed man quest-01

Inside you’ll find a distraught wife who asks you to help her husband.  If you agree, you’ll be given the quest “Deal with possessed man in Darsov.”

She’ll direct you to where he is, located outside and underground.  Leave the hut, turn right and head down the ledge.  You’ll find another hut, that you’ll need to enter.

Inside, you’ll see a green-looking person who keeps saying, “Kadjanto… My Soul… Darkness… Help me.” There’s also an item in the room behind the person, but the door is locked. You’ll have to help this fellow to get that door opened.

Of course, at first, you’ll think that heading over to Kadjanto on the map is where the person is telling you to go. However, that’s not correct. Instead, you’ll have to head over to the Kasta Palace and locate the spell “Holy Light.” Keep in mind that this location is one of the harder ones in the Game. You’ll need to have leveled up quite a bit before you tackle it.

Once you have the Holy Light, head back to Darsov and revisit the cursed person. When you see him, cast the spell, which will give your equipped weapon the ability to shoot empowered bolts of holiness. Hit him with a few, and he’ll be free of this curse.

He’ll open the door for you and then head to his wife. You’ll complete the quest and will be able to snag the item.

If you head back to the hut where you first found the wife, both of them will thank you for freeing the husband.

And there you go! The Deal with possessed man in Darsov quest is completed.

Infernax is currently available on PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
