Elden Ring Guide: How to Stop the Walking Mausoleums

By Keith MitchellFebruary 24, 2022

In Elden Ring, up in the Lurina region, you’ll encounter walking Mausoleums. These walking buildings are massive and wouldn’t stop moving, making it hard to see what is inside them. However, it is easy enough to get them to stop, allowing you access to the inside of them.

Stopping the walking mausoleums

Once you encounter these walking mausoleums, you’ll need to get next to one of them. You’ll notice that some white stuff is on the bottom of each foot. Upon closer inspection, it looks like skulls are attached to its feet. You’ll need to take a weapon and smack it a few times, and they will fall off.

Do this to at least two of the feet, and the walking mausoleum will stop. When this happens, get from under it or you’ll get smashed into the model of the walking mausoleum.

However, once the walking mausoleum has stopped, it will fold its legs inward and drop to the ground. Now allowing you access to what is inside.

As for what is inside, well, we’re not going to tell you. You’ll have to play Elden Ring to find out.
