Corpse Husband Makes Voice Acting Debut in TRIBE NINE

By Josh PiedraFebruary 7, 2022

Yesterday, viral sensation, musician, and YouTuber Corpse Husband announced that he will make his first-ever voice acting debut in the new action sci-fi anime series Tribe Nine, a Funimation co-production with animation by LIDENFILMS.

TRIBE NINE

Corpse Husband will serve as the English voice of the masked antagonist Ojiro Otori, leader of Chiyoda Tribe who believes winning is everything. To become the best XB player, he was taken in at a young age and trained by the leader of Neo Tokyo, Tenshin.

He will be joined by the rest of the English language cast including Valentine Stokes, Caitlyn Elizabeth, Calvin Joyal, and more.

Funimation describes Tribe Nine as follows:

In Neo Tokyo, disillusioned youth form tribes that battle each other in an intense sport called Extreme Baseball. One night, two kids – Haru Shirogane and Taiga – meet the strongest man in the world, Shun Kamiya. Together the three join forces to play this cutthroat game against a mysterious man who has begun taking control of all the tribes. Can they defeat him before it’s too late?
