It was announced today that Bryan Lee O’ Malley’s Scott Pilgrim graphic novel saga is receiving an anime adaptation from Netflix. Netflix will be teaming up with Universal Studios and Science SARU to produce the show.
Right now, the series is in the early planning stages and production has not yet begun on it.
The graphic novel was published from 2004 to 2010 and spawned a video game as well as a live-action movie. The game was made available once again in January of last year, ending a seven-year span of unavailability from modern platforms.
More details will be released later should the anime get the green light to go into production
