Pokemon Legends Arceus Gets TV Ad

By Todd BlackJanuary 2, 2022
Pokemon Legends Arceus

Pokemon Legends Arceus is going to be the first major release on the Nintendo Switch this year, and it’s aiming to be not just a big title, but a game-changing one at that. This title is a prequel of sorts to the Diamond and Pearl games as its set in the Hisui Region (aka the region before Sinnoh was named and colonized), but as the game has shown multiple times, it’s much more than that.

Case in point, in a new TV ad for Pokemon Legends Arceus, a variety of gameplay clips showed exactly what players can do in the title beyond the standard Pokemon fare. For example, you’ll be able to control your player character in ways you couldn’t before. You can use Ride Pokemon to actually catch other Pokemon, and visit unique locations in the Hisui Region that wouldn’t look anything like what you’ve seen in the mainline games, even with the remakes of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Arceus does seem to be a very beautiful and expansive title, we’ll get to experience it for ourselves on January 28th.
