As we’ve been talking about a lot as of late, there have been many “year-end” lists both for games and for consoles, and the Nintendo Switch has been killing it in a lot of respects. Including apparently beating the Nintendo Wii in lifetime sales unofficially. And in the UK, the Switch has done very well indeed in 2021.
According to GameIndustry.biz, the Nintendo Switch became the best-selling system in the UK. While that may not SEEM that impressive, it honestly is, because according to them, they sold half a million units just in the last two months of 2021 alone, and that helped them overtake the PS5.
Add that to the sales that they did in Japan in 2021, and the US, and you can see why the Switch is going to be on top for at least a little while longer.
