Capcom made a surprising announcement today stating that the Taiwan version of Mega Man X DiVE will be coming to Steam in the United States, Canada, and Mexico starting Thursday, January 20 at 4:00 (UTC+8).
Do note that this is NOT the global version of the game that is being handled by Nebula Joy. This is the original Taiwan/Asian version and your data on the global version will NOT carry over. Which means if you download and play this version of the game, you will need to start fresh from scratch.
At this moment in time, neither Capcom nor Nebula Joy have announced a way to merge data from the global version with the Taiwan version nor is Nebula Joy planning a Steam port of the global version.
Things; however, are always subject to change. The good news is that if you found a way to play the Taiwan version in the states (usually behind a VPN and via an emulator like BlueStacks), then your data will carry over to the steam version via the same account.
