A new Bubble Bobble game is in development

Fans of those two lovable green and blue dinosaurs, get excited as Taito has announced that it is working on a new Bubble Bobble title.

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the series, this currently untitled game was recently revealed by Taito. The game is early in development and as such, details are sparse.

A screenshot was provided that shows that the game will allow up to 4 players, and have competing to partake in a puzzle game to pop similar bubbles. At least, that’s my guess based on the the image provided.

Taito also sent over this adorable video that shows the antics of Bub, as he tries to find out more about this project.

Whatever this new Bubble Bobble game becomes, it will be the latest title since Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, that released on in 2020 for the PS4, PC, and Switch.

Hopefully we’ll find out more about this new title sooner than later.  I love me some Bubble Bobble.
