Kodansha, Seven Seas Set to Publish Tokyo Revengers Manga

By Josh PiedraNovember 24, 2021
Tokyo Revengers

Seven Seas Entertainment announced today that they have partnered with Kodansha Comics to publish Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga! The two companies will be splitting the digital and physical publications with Kodansha publishing the manga in digital and Seven Seas publishing it in physical format.

Rather than individual volumes, Seven Seas will be publishing the physical version in an omnibus format, each omnibus containing two volumes of the manga. A limited-edition of the first omnibus will be sold exclusively through Barnes & Noble and will come with a variant cover and a double-sided foldout poster.

Both the standard edition and limited edition will be available in May 2022 for the same price of $22.99 USD or $28.99 CAN.

Seven Seas describes the manga as follows:

Hanagaki Takemichi was once a low-life punk, but after biting off more than he could chew with a gang in middle school, he ran away from his old life. Now that he’s an adult, the gang that once terrorized him has grown into the largest gang in Tokyo, and they’ve started killing people–including his old girlfriend! After learning this news, a mysterious force on a train platform shoves Takemichi right in front of an approaching train. As his life flashes before his eyes, he blinks to find himself transported back to middle school, before he fled from the gang! Now he has the chance to right what went wrong all those years ago. Can he save his girlfriend’s life in the future–and what else might he change if he’s rewriting the past?
