Snag extra bonus cars in Forza Horizon 5 if you’ve played these games

By Keith MitchellOctober 29, 2021
Which edition of Forza Horizon 5 should you purchase?

With Forza Horizon 5 just around the corner, I’m sure racing game fans, much like myself, can’t wait to get their hands on the game. Well, the Forza Horizon Twitter account just sweetened the pot by announcing that veterans of the Forza series can score extra cars if they’ve played the previous games.

If you’ve played the prior Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport games, you’ll snag a few extra cars for your efforts:

Forza Horizon 1  – 2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS – Forza Horizon 1
Forza Horizon 2 – 2014 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4
Forza Horizon 3 – 2016 Lamborghini Centernario LP 770-4
Forza Horizon 4 – 2018 McLaren Senna
Forza Motorsport 5 – 2013 McLaren P1
Forza Motorsport 6 – 2017 Ford GT
Forza Motorsport 7 – 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS

Forza franchise veterans, here are all the Loyalty Rewards that await you on day one.

If you’ve played these games, you’ll release that these bonus cars just happen to be the cover car for each of these games. It’s a nice easter egg on Playground Games part to bring those cars into its latest game, Forza Horizon 5. If you aren’t sure if you’ve played these games before, you can verify this by heading to the Forza Rewards website. Sadly, I won’t be able to claim all of these cars, as my Xbox Live account from my Xbox 360 days was hacked, and I could never reclaim it. Still, something is better than nothing.

If you haven’t played any of the earlier games, it’s not too late to play these games, but it will require quite the effort on your part. Several of these games are only on the Xbox 360, and aren’t playable via Xbox Backward Compatibility. You’ll have to pull out that Xbox 360 that you have in storage (or purchase a new one) and play those games on the console.

Forza Horizon 5 will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 9, 2021. If you purchase the premium edition of Forza Horizon 5,  you’ll be able to get a headstart and play on November 5, 2021.
