There were quite a few new titles announced at the Nintendo Direct back in September, but one of the most surprising ones was the return of a major franchise from handhelds past in the form of Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp. This was going to be a December release title that would compile the first two Advance Wars games with a new coat of plate, slightly updated gameplay and more. However, things have now changed.
Because on the official Twitter for Nintendo of America, they announced that the game is going to be pushed back:

Obviously this is a bit of a blow to those who wanted to get this game before the year ends. However, it does cement 2022 as a year full of anticipated Switch titles. When Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp gets a more definitive release date, we’ll let you know.
